On another corner, stop by Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe for a yummy hot chocolate and a cranberry orange scone. Or, place a mobile order for corn dogs or soft drinks at Award Wieners, or for Smokejumpers Grill, serving bacon cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, onion rings, waffle fries, kids’ meals, and vanilla and chocolate shakes.
Along Buena Vista Street, Disney magic brings a nostalgic throwback to the 1920s and ’30s. The boulevard depicts a typical Los Angeles neighborhood where a young Walt Disney lived and worked after arriving in Southern California in 1923. This idyllic setting captures the quaint "mom-and-pop" shops of the time and a big-city department store including Elias & Co., Julius Katz & Sons, Kingswell Camera Shop and Trolley Treats, where guests can find unique Disney apparel and gifts.
Beginning Nov. 19, 2020, there will be a $10 fee per car for parking at the Downtown Disney District in the Simba Lot. The number of guests visiting the Downtown Disney District and its locations, including the shopping and dining experiences along Buena Vista Street, will be limited to promote physical distancing. We may at times use the mobile wait list system when Buena Vista Street and/or its queue are at capacity, similar to the process at some retail locations in the Downtown Disney District. Disney California Adventure Park is currently closed.

Temporary Suspension of Select Disney Cruise Line Departures

UPDATE SEPT. 15 - Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of All Departures through at least December 6, 2020
As we continue to refine health and safety protocols for our future return to service and await further direction from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Disney Cruise Line has decided to further extend its suspension of new sailings.
Sailings onboard the Disney Fantasy will be cancelled through December 6; the Disney Dream and Disney Wonder through December 11; and the Disney Magic through December 12.
Guests booked on affected sailings who have paid their reservation in full will be offered the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund. Guests who have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far. Affected Guests and travel professionals will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line outlining details and next steps.
Guests who booked their reservation through a third party should contact them directly with any questions.
Please note that we will continue to protect travel professionals’ commission on the original sailing that is paid in full and cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. For reservations that were booked using a Future Cruise Credit from a sailing previously cancelled by Disney Cruise Line, commission on a second sailing will be earned only if the sailing commences and will not be earned if the sailing is cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. In this instance, commission will be paid following the standard commission payment process

Walt Disney World Water Parks Update
With a phased approach to reopening, we have continued to welcome Guests and Cast Members back to our theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs area. While Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park remain closed at this time, pending state and local government approvals, we currently plan to reopen one of the two Disney water parks on March 7, 2021. Like the other areas of Walt Disney World Resort, we will welcome back Guests and Cast Members to our water parks in a responsible way, with a plan focused on health and well-being. We will provide more details on our phased reopening plan, including a decision on the specific water park that will be reopening first, at a later time.
We realize that some Guests with existing tickets and some Annual Passholders are impacted by this update. New Adventures with Princess Tiana Coming to Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom Park
Today we are thrilled to share a first glimpse of a project Imagineers have been working on since last year. Splash Mountain – at both Disneyland park in California and Magic Kingdom park in Florida – will soon be completely reimagined. The theme is inspired by an all-time favorite animated Disney film, “The Princess and the Frog.” We pick up this story after the final kiss, and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.
For Imagineers, change is rooted in a tradition set by Walt Disney who encouraged new innovations, new ideas, new scenes and current storytelling. And the experiences they create can be enjoyed by guests who visit our parks from all over the world.
As part of the creative development process, conceptual design work is well underway and Imagineers will soon be able to conduct preliminary reviews and develop a timeline for when the transformation can start to take shape.

Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway Marquee
We’re less than a month away from rolling out the red carpet for the new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. Your Clients will be able to experience the attraction beginning March 4! Earlier this week, Walt Disney Imagineering marked a milestone on the attraction’s progress by unveiling its dazzling new marquee.
“We want to make sure that we’re providing an amazing marquee that really celebrates the entrance into a great attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios,” said Art Director Phillip Hillis.
The marquee is brought to “light” by blinking bulbs and animated depictions of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse created with real, hand-crafted neon. It takes its design cue from the extravagant made-for-the-movie marquees that were custom designed for the premieres of epic films in the mid-20th century. It also connects to the design and glamour of the Chinese Theatre and Hollywood Boulevard, the main thoroughfare through the park.
When the attraction debuts on March 4, your Clients can head to the Chinese Theatre to see the world premiere of Mickey and Minnie’s latest cartoon short entitled “Perfect Picnic.” The theater will serve as the magic portal through which theater-goers can burst directly into the cartoon world.
And did you know that Mickey and Minnie have a history at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood? The 1931 Mickey Mouse cartoon “Mickey Steps Out,” was screened at the Chinese Theatre. And the 1933 cartoon, “Mickey’s Gala Premier,” opens with an establishing shot in front of the Chinese Theatre with a blinking marquee and crisscrossing searchlights welcoming Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow to the red carpet.

Remy Chef Honored as One of World’s 10 Best
Most people know that Remy, one of the two adult-exclusive restaurants on Disney Cruise Line, features subtle nods to the Disney•Pixar film “Ratatouille” and its star, Remy. But what they may not know is that the menu in this French-inspired restaurant is curated, in part, by one of the world’s 10 best chefs, Chef Arnaud Lallement.
In a list compiled by “Le Chef” and voted on by two and three-star Michelin chefs, Chef Arnaud was recently named one of the world’s best chefs based upon the values of the cooking profession and the exceptional cuisine featured in their restaurants. In addition to Remy, Chef Arnaud is world renowned for his Michelin three-star restaurant, L’Assiette Champenoise, just outside Reims, France.
Chef Arnaud collaborates with Chef Scott Hunnel, from the award-winning Victoria & Albert’s at Walt Disney World® Resort, to create a menu at Remy that features superior products and seasonal ingredients sourced from around the world.
With gourmet cuisine and a unique approach to wine service, in which your Clients are invited to meet with a sommelier to taste and pre-select their wines for the evening, Remy melds classic and contemporary styles into a sophisticated new dining concept. Dinner at Remy is a lavish and leisurely affair, starting with a signature chilled Taittinger Champagne cocktail made tableside, followed by eight to nine small courses. The restaurant offers two stellar wine lists: a special French list, with 200 vintages from most every region in France, and Remy’s Vault, a separate and exclusive wine list with rare wines from all over the world.
Whether it’s a special occasion or your Clients just want to experience a menu curated by one of the world’s top 10 chefs, be sure to have them add Remy to their itinerary the next time they're on board the Disney Fantasy or Disney Dream.
Bon appétit!
